What it pays for

Classroom funds. Every teacher gets an amount to spend on their own room, and they claim it back with a receipt. Laminators, file folders, dot art markers — the small things a teacher would otherwise buy out of their own pocket, and often still does.

Teacher appreciation. Meals during conference weeks, when staff are at school until 7pm two nights running, and the week in spring that says thank you properly.

Enrichment and experiences. The things that make a school year memorable rather than merely complete.

Family assistance. Quiet help so that cost is never the reason a child misses something.

There are no dues

This is worth saying plainly, because a table at a school event with a price list on it gives the wrong impression. Nothing about being part of the CCC costs money. Giving is separate from belonging, and always optional. If a monthly gift is not the right thing for your family this year, volunteering an hour is worth just as much, and we would rather have you than your money.
